Public Lectures

The first Public Lecture in the 2020/2021 academic year was given by Romaric Kana, the 2019/2020 Valedictorian. According to AIMS Cameroon’s tradition, the Valedictorian opens the sequence of Public Lectures for the next academic year.

AIMS Cameroon hosts Public Lectures every week and the choice of Speakers is very random. Preference in the past was given to lecturers on campus teaching a course. Since more than three lecturers are always present for three-week lectures, they take turns every week giving seminars on topics in their research areas. The purpose is always to introduce students to these research areas and help them choose which academics research path to follow.
